ReCo Energy Solutions was contracted to perform a precision evacuation of a 12-mile section of 30-inch natural gas pipeline. The client required the system to be safely drawn down to a low pressure of 7 PSIG in preparation for upcoming maintenance work. Key project goals included eliminating flaring, reducing methane emissions, and maintaining full operational safety and compliance.
ReCo mobilized its mobile compression fleet and brought the pressure down from an initial 828 PSIG to the target threshold in under three days.
Over 18.6 million standard cubic feet (MMSCF) of natural gas was safely recovered and redirected. This not only prevented product loss but also maximized asset value and supported the client’s environmental commitments. ReCo’s streamlined approach minimized downtime and ensured the job was completed well ahead of schedule, showcasing our leadership in pipeline evacuation solutions.
