When a client needed to safely decommission a 19-mile section of 22-inch pipeline, they turned to ReCo Energy Solutions for a fast and environmentally responsible solution.

With an initial system pressure of 610 PSIG and a deadline of less than 48 hours, ReCo deployed its high-flow mobile compression system and commenced immediate drawdown. The operation successfully brought the line down to 1 PSIG in under two days.

More than 11 MMSCF of natural gas was captured and reused rather than flared or vented. This outcome allowed the client to remain in full environmental compliance while retaining product value. ReCo’s experienced field team ensured all safety and operational goals were exceeded.
